| Graduated Schafer High School, Southgate, Michigan. Went to Highline Community College for 2 semesters, then joined the U.S. Navy in 1983. Served on Submarine USS Alabama SSBN 731 Gold Crew until 1989. Made 5 actual Patrols. Was a Fire Control Ballistic Missile Electronics Technician. Programmed the 24 missile guidance systems. Was stationed in Bangor, Washington. Married 1st wife, Sheri Dianne Wilkinson, with step-daughters Heidi and Jill Braddy. Married in 1986, divorced in 1991. After leaving Navy in 1989, worked as a Sheetrock nailer for a few months, then for Breda Transportation in Issaqua, Washington building Seattle Underground Busses. Then hired onto Boeing Airplane Company in December 1989. Worked for Boeing as a Wire Harness Builder for 6 months, then as a Failure and Destruct Analysis technician for Electrical Interconnects, then as a Fiber Optics Research and Development Technician. Built and helped design a first time Fiber Optics harness that was launched on a Space Shuttle to collect data for affects on radiation on fiber in a space environment. It was called the Photonics Space Experiment. Then worked as a Process Engineer for the Space and Defense Wire Shop, mainly on the B2 Bomber. Then went to College Full time for 2 years to aquire an Electronics Engineering Technology degree. While in College, helped design and build a Human Powered Aircraft Flight Simulator that was displayed at the Museum of Flight in Washington. It was later used to train the pilots for the actual Raven Human Powered Aircraft. Then moved to Oregon in 1995 to work for Hewlett Packard company as a Maintenance Technician maintaining an Automated Warehouse, programming automated machines and robots. Received a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology with an emphasis on Network and Communications at the University of Phoenix in 2002. It was a remote campus in Albany, Oregon at the Linn Benton Community College. Jeff quit HP in April of 2004. Jeff and Robin currently own 2 movie theatres, The Star Cinema in Stayton, OR and the Pix Theatre in Albany, OR. |
